Scott Cairncross is a Partner Principal and co-founder of TruQua Enterprises, an SAP Analytics software development and services company based in Chicago, Illinois. Prior to starting TruQua, Scott was formerly a Senior Director of the SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Regional Implementation Group (RIG) in the Americas. Scott worked with most early SAP EPM customers in order to assist them with their solution strategies and implementations. As a part of his management role, Scott led various ramp ups, as well as other strategic initiatives. Scott has a deep knowledge in a broad cross-section of tools and solutions, including but not limited to SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BusinessObjects Cloud, SAP HANA Cloud Platform, SAP NetWeaver BW, SAP BusinessObjects, and the SAP EPM suite. Scott has participated in numerous SAP go-lives and has spoken at SAP TechEd, ASUG, SAPPHIRE, CFO.com, and SAPinsider events including most recently the S/4HANA Finance Bootcamp. Scott also co-authored the book, “SAP Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Add-In” as well as articles published in SAP Professional Journal and SAPInsider.
Since 2008, David has been a featured speaker worldwide at SAPinsider conferences annually (starting with “Reporting & Business Intelligence with SAP and Business Objects” conference and more recently including “S/4HANA Finance Bootcamp”). His expertise is also often called upon by SAP such as moderating “askSAP EPM Innovation Community Calls” and participating in talk shows such as “Financial Excellence with Game Changers”. He was also the only third-party expert featured at SAP’s “BPC MEGA Elite” training other consultancies on SAP BPC Financial Consolidation in 2011. He co-authored the book “Mastering the SAP Business Information Warehouse” written with Bill Inmon, the “father of data warehousing,” as well as white papers sponsored by Business Objects and SAP on Business Intelligence (BI) and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM). David started his career in 1995 as a Financials and Controlling (FI/CO) consultant with SAP specializing in financial consolidations, product costing and profitability analysis with particular expertise in the ERP information systems and tools. David is not only an executive and practicing consultant but also a hands-on developer since his earliest days with SAP. His skills span functional and technical domains. He has worked with SAP’s development team in Walldorf and Palo Alto on numerous occasions in support of applications and initiatives in the S/4HANA, EPM and BI space. He continues to have active and personal ties with SAP’s product and solution organizations. He has extensive project experience in implementing high-value global solutions for Fortune 100 companies.
