Job Description:
As a SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (SAP BPC) Lead Consultant, you will be expected to spearhead multiple customer accounts and focus on fundamental business issues – managing risk, increasing revenues, controlling costs — that organizations, across various industries should address in order to help them meet their strategic and financial goals.

Your job duties will include but are not limited to leading, performing, training and mentoring in the following areas:

  • Provide “hands-on” technical expertise, deep product knowledge and implementation insights to your engagements
  • Provide relevant business processes and SAP BPC knowledge and guidance on complex concepts and projects
  • Work closely with end users to design the proper BPC solution(s) to support defined business processes and business requirements
  • Create functional specifications for development requirements
  • Develop documentation, including documenting test results, and support go-live efforts
  • Actively participate in training and knowledge transfer sessions to enable end users to understand SAP BPC
  • Work with customers’ teams of business analysts to provide business application support for all of the company’s financial management systems and related applications
  • Provide support for applicants to include problem identification, reporting, tracking analysis and resolution
  • Provide continuous feedback on project status and offer constructive options to ensure project continues to meet original expectations
  • Continuously demonstrate and deliver strong and highly professional customer service commitment
  • Utilize technical and industry knowledge to identify complex client issues and build long-term business relationships with key executives through engagement delivery, as well as networking in professional organizations
  • Contribute thought leadership to the development and growth of our TruQua brand and intellectual capital by, among others: Publishing articles, white papers, and/or speaking at select domestic and/or global conferences
  • Manage and provide leadership to entry level consultants and become actively involved in team development and practice management
  • Understand and exemplify TruQua corporate values & deep commitment to excellence at all levels; internally and externally.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Five years of direct SAP BPC experience, particularly in Planning
  • Ten years of hands-on experience working with a professional services advisory firm or publicly traded company and experience leading and delivering full life cycle implementation projects
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; MBA or MIS from an accredited college/university is preferred
  • Strong understanding of accounting concepts, financial consolidations and internal controls
  • Solid experience in definition and designs (business blueprint phase) of models of planning and consolidation
  • Experience and/or conceptual knowledge of accounting, banking and/or financial services industry
  • Experience with budget, planning, forecasting and forecasting processes
  • A minimum of 3 years in finance or accounting background and familiarity with general ledger and financial transaction processing/budgeting/planning processes
  • Experience with governance, controls, process and procedures, centers of competency, change management, conceptual data modeling, master data management, data standardization and stewardship, information integrity and compliance, and data quality management
  • Demonstrated track record of leadership, client management, and delivery
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
